Agni in Ayurveda is the fire energy. There are over forty Agni’s in the body-mind, Jathari Agni is the main Agni that controls all the other Agni’s. Jathari Agni controls the digestion of food- Agni is not only the ability to digest food, its also the intelligence to transform food into consciousness.

Breakfast

Oats with cinnamon

  • 1/2 cup of rolled oats

  • 1tbsp ghee or coconut oil

  • 1 cup of boiling water

  • 1/2 cup of milk/nut milk

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1/2 tsp of cardamom

  • sprinkle of dried coconut

  1. Dry roast the oats over medium heat for 1-2 minutes

  2. Add the ghee or coconut oil to the roasted oats and stir- add the boiling water.

  3. Add the milk and spices, bring to the boil, then turn the heat to low.

  4. Add more milk to the consistency you like and the coconut to serve.

 

Drink

Ginger tea

  • Fresh ginger- 2cm x 2 cm per person chopped

  • Black tea leaves (optional)

  • Hot water

  • Honey to taste

  1. Boil water in a pot, add ginger, tea leaves and bring to the boil

  2. Pour into mug allow to cool and add honey to taste

 

Dinner

Chicken bone broth

  • Organic chicken carcasses

  • 1 tbsp of ghee or coconut oil

  • All spice, pepper, coriander and cumin seeds

  • 2 tbsp Apple cider vinegar

  • 3-4 L of boiling water

    1. Melt the ghee or coconut oil in large stock pot

    2. Add the coriander and cumin seeds until an aroma is smelt. Add the chicken carcusses and lightly brown.

    3. Add the 3-4 L of boiling water and the apple cider vinegar, all spice and pepper

    4. Cook on low tor medium heat for 7-8 hours

    5. Stir and enjoy with fresh coriander leaves and rice noodles.

    6. Store in the fridge for 2-3 days
